(Meat and milk are checked, but all the other food, cosmetics and toiletries and above all water are not)
An environmental warning due to estrogens that cause genital apparatus anomalies in one out of 3 children, delay in boys and precocity in girls. The problem was mentioned by the specialists at the 4th National Congress “Progress in Andrology” at Villa San Giovanni, Italy.
“The male is less male - experts say - estrogens are everywhere: air, water, food even in plastics, in sealing tape, in vinyl floor, in inks. They get into the body even through the skin when we use shampoos, soaps and cosmetics. There is no escape”
Estrogens have the capacity to mimic the natural hormones, sending false messages, blocking the hormones receptors. “The same hormones used to accelerate the developement and the weight increase in farmed animals - Nicola Ilacqua explains, president of the congress- end up in men accelerating and causing anomalies in the male sexual genitals, very common in young men who tend to be obese, in men that have a sedentary lifestyle (only computer and videogames) and who have a diet lacking fruit and vegetables. The regulating authorities look for and check the estrogens content/presence in meat or milk, neglecting totally non animal food, cosmetics and toiletries, the environment and above all the water”.
Because of this an increase in male impotency, erectile disfunction and vascular pathologies, which cause problems in the sexual activity and cause infertility. “In the last twenty years the percentage of children born with retracted testicles, has increased 4 times, says Andrea Ledda, scientific director of the congress: “The estrogens are responsible for this: they are endocrine disruptors that block the receptor L3, found in the foetal neonatal cells, and responsible for the sexual differentiation of the foetus. And this causes the anomalies in the genitals. “Besides the estrogens interfere in the testosteron production, fundamental for the maturation of male sperm and for the up keep of the glands that produce it. And this explains the male infertility, that is constantly on the rise. The sperm produced by the men of today are not as good as the ones produced thrity years ago, they have less spermatozoos which are also less vital”
The presence of estrogens in the environment and in food is associated with the increase of some hormone dependent tumors (breast, uterus and testicles).
